There's nothing like a fresh batch of Powerbar products to kick off a Labor Day celebration! Powerbars will be given away this Labor Day Sunday before the run at Skyline Gate; get your hands on free samples of Powerbars, gels, and random clothing and merchandise. The run itself will be runner's choice, with the distances ranging from 7.5 mi (Sequoia Bayview route) to 9 mi (everything else).
DIRECTIONS TO SKYLINE GATE: Skyline Gate is located off of Hwy. 13. This highway is accessible via I-580 and Hwy. 24. From Oakland, take Hwy. 13 North. Exit at Park Street. Turn left at Mountain Blvd. Turn right on Snake Rd. Continue straight onto Shepard Canyon Rd. Turn right on Skyline Blvd., and drive straight to the Skyline Gate parking lot on the left.
From Berkeley, take Hwy. 13 South towards Moraga Ave/Montclair District. Moraga Ave. becomes Mountain Blvd. Turn left on Snake Rd. Continue straight onto Shepard Canyon Rd. Turn right on Skyline Blvd., and drive straight to the Skyline Gate parking lot on the left.
