Pac Striders Oct 7, 8:30am - Strawberry Canyon

Mike's off for a lovely weekend at Clear Lake, so I'll be going solo this Sunday at Strawberry Canyon. Anyone who feels up to doing an out and back run with me is welcome to join me! The full route to Lawrence Livermore Lab is 8 miles. I'll start from the Strawberry Canyon swimming pool parking lot.

DIRECTIONS: Access to Strawberry Canyon is off Centennial Rd., east of UC Berkeley main campus, in the hills just behind the campus. From I-80, exit at University Avenue. Proceed east on University Avenue then turn left on Oxford. Turn right on Hearst and go up the hill, then turn right on Gayley. Turn left at the stop sign onto Stadium Rim Way. and left again on Centennial Dr., which proceeds eastward up the hill from the back side of the stadium. After 100 yards, there will be the Strawberry Canyon Pool parking lot to the right.

From Hwy. 13, exit at Ashby Ave. Proceed on Ashby, then turn right on College. Turn right onto Dwight Way, go up the hill and turn left onto Prospect. Proceed around the stadium (to your left) to the first stop sign. Turn right onto Centennial Drive, go straight for about 100 yards, there will be the Strawberry Canyon Pool parking lot to the right. Centennial Drive is also accessible from Grizzly Peak Boulevard (head south towards UC Berkeley)
