Happy Veteran's Day! Continuing our tour around Chabot, we'll pay another visit to the Grass Valley side. This time your fellow coordinators will be on hand to point the way. We should be able to cross the creek bed going up the Columbine Trail before winter rains turn the area into river rapids. Meet us at 8:30am at the Clyde Woolridge Staging Area at the intersection of Grass Valley Road and Skyline Blvd.
DIRECTIONS:
From the east (Dublin/Castro Valley), take I-580W towards Oakland and exit at 98th Avenue/Golf Links Road. Turn right on Golf Links Road. Golf Links Road becomes Grass Valley Road. Continue straight through a row of eucalyptus trees and park at the end of the road (where Grass Valley and Skyline Blvd. intersect).
From the east (Berkeley/Oakland), take I-580E towards Hayward/Stockton and exit at 98th Avenue/Golf Links Road. Turn left on Golf Links Road. Golf Links Road becomes Grass Valley Road. Continue straight through a row of eucalyptus trees and park at the end of the road (where Grass Valley and Skyline Blvd. intersect).
