Pac Striders Aug 16, 10AM - LMJS Potluck, Montclair Park, Oakland

Hope you're all ready for some running and eating this Sunday, as we're joining up with the Lake Merritt Joggers and Striders Summer Potluck. The event starts at 10am with a fun run, followed by food, LMJS elections, and lawn games. Bring friends and family, and a dish if you can; if your last name starts with A-K, bring dessert, if it's L-Z bring an appetizer. The club will provide drinks, hamburgers and hot dogs.

Updated: Here's a note from Len Goldman about the fun run:
"Glad you guys will join us on the 16th. We will run part of the Oakland Marathon course. The plan is to run from Montclair Park to Temescal Park and back, about 5 miles total for the short option and the long option will be to run down Moraga Ave., over to Pleasant Valley, up Broadway to Temescal Park and back to Montclair Park. That one is about 8 miles."

• Exit onto I-580 E toward CA-24/Hayward – Stockton; go 1.6mi

• Exit onto CA-13 S toward Hayward go 1.4mi
• Take the exit toward Thornhill Dr, go 0.3mi
• Merge onto Moraga Ave

From North
• I-580 E toward CA-24/Hayward – Stockton
• Exit onto CA-24 E toward Walnut Creek; go 3.4mi
