If you have some time in the morning before any Easter celebrations, come run with us at Grass Valley on the north side of Chabot Regional Park. The full loop (combining Cascade, Columbine & Brandon trails) is 9 miles; as for me, I'll be lucky to make it up most of the hill on Columbine. No matter how far you run, we should have some beautiful shady trails to greet us.
DIRECTIONS:
From Dublin/Castro Valley, take I-580W towards Oakland and exit at 98th Avenue/Golf Links Road. Turn right on Golf Links Road. Golf Links Road becomes Grass Valley Road. Continue straight through a row of eucalyptus trees and park at the end of the road (where Grass Valley and Skyline Blvd. intersect).
From Berkeley/Oakland, take I-580E towards Hayward/Stockton and exit at 98th Avenue/Golf Links Road. Turn left on Golf Links Road. Golf Links Road becomes Grass Valley Road.
