Apologies for the late notice for tomorrow's run, which will be at Grass Valley in Anthony Chabot Regional Park. Traipsing up along the Columbine Trail to the campgrounds and back via Brandon Trail will make a 9 mile run, with plenty of options for shorter or longer routes. There is water at the start and midway at the campgrounds.
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM MEETING:
Malia (our Pac Strider women's team captain) would like to invite all women runners to attend a picnic and meeting this coming SATURDAY, AUGUST 18 at Tilden Park near Little Farm. Ther will be a run at 8:30am followed by a potluck picnic until noon. Attendees will be able to sign up and learn more about the upcoming fall cross country races. DIRECTIONS TO GRASS VALLEY: From the east (Dublin/Castro Valley), take I-580W towards Oakland and exit at 98th Avenue/Golf Links Road. Turn right on Golf Links Road. Golf Links Road becomes Grass Valley Road. Continue straight through a row of eucalyptus trees and park at the end of the road (where Grass Valley and Skyline Blvd. intersect).
From the east (Berkeley/Oakland), take I-580E towards Hayward/Stockton and exit at 98th Avenue/Golf Links Road. Turn left on Golf Links Road. Golf Links Road becomes Grass Valley Road. Continue straight through a row of eucalyptus trees and park at the end of the road (where Grass Valley and Skyline Blvd. intersect).
