Pac Striders Feb. 18, 8:30am - Inspiration Point (& Couples Relay reminder)

Happy post-V Day and pre-Lunar New Year to you all. Mike sends his apologies to attendees of last week's run, as the flu bug hit the Rossi household in a big way. As for me, well I was out of town for a pre-planned trip but I apologize too.

We still hope you can join us this Sunday for a run at Inspiration Point. The full out-and-back on the paved Nimitz Trail is 8 miles with an option to tack an extra mile on the trails. Rain is iffy so be prepared, but even if there are some sprinkles, it won't affect our footing on the asphalt.

Also, a reminder that next week is the Couples Relay hosted by the Lake Merritt Joggers and Striders. Many Striders, including myself, will be there, t's not too late to sign up! See lmjs.org for more info.

DIRECTIONS TO INSPIRATION POINT: From Oakland/Berkeley, go thru the Caldecott Tunnel on Hwy 24 to the Orinda/Moraga exit. Turn left (north) onto Camino Pablo, and go 2 miles to the traffic light at Wildcat Canyon Rd. Turn left and go uphill 2.5 miles to the parking lot at the top of the ridge.
