We'll be at Inspiration Point in Tilden Park this Sunday morning. In anticipation of the rains this weekend, we'll be running high and dry over the rolling asphalt of the Nimitz Trail. Mud possibilities await those who wish to venture beyond the 4 mile turnaround point; otherwise the standard out-and-back distance will be 8 miles total.
DIRECTIONS: From Oakland/Berkeley, go thru the Caldecott Tunnel on Hwy 24 to the Orinda/Moraga exit. Turn left (north) onto Camino Pablo, and go 2 miles to the traffic light at Wildcat Canyon Rd. Turn left and go uphill 2.5 miles to the parking lot at the top of the ridge.
