Pac Striders Oct. 2, 8:30am - Sequoia Bayview Trail, Skyline Gate

This Sunday at 8:30am, we return to our old standby route from Skyline Gate to the end of the Sequoia Bayview Trail and back. The whole loop is around 7.5-8 mi long, depending on which variation of the loop we use; plenty of opportunities for extending or shortening the run. Water and bathrooms at the start and at the halfway point.

DIRECTIONS: Skyline Gate is located off of Hwy. 13, which is accessible via I-580 and Hwy. 24.

From Oakland, take Hwy. 13 North. Exit at Park Street. Turn left at Mountain Blvd. Turn right on Snake Rd. Continue straight onto Shepard Canyon Rd. Turn right on Skyline Blvd., and drive straight to the Skyline Gate parking lot on the left.

From Berkeley, take Hwy. 13 South towards Moraga Ave/Montclair District. Moraga Ave. becomes Mountain Blvd. Turn left on Snake Rd. Continue straight onto Shepard Canyon Rd. Turn right on Skyline Blvd., and drive straight to the Skyline Gate parking lot on the left.
